Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English mixed with Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English descendance. Her mother has Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she quit school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person to hire her as an experienced model.
